Armory Welcomes 24th Annual New Balance Games, Top High School Student-Athletes on East CoastPublished by
Many of the East Coast’s premier high school track & field student-athletes are entered in the 24th Annual New Balance Games which takes place today (January 19) and continues Saturday (January 20) at the historic Armory located in Washington Heights. Top female student-athletes: Kelsey Chmiel - Saratoga Springs, NY: Edinburgh Cross Country Junior Champion. Nike Cross Country National Runner Up. Hannah Waller - South Lakes, VA: US#2 at 55 and 300 meters. Jessica Slagus - North Pocono, PA: US#8 Weight Throw. Sarah Trainor – Franklin D. Roosevelt HS, NY: US#9 3000, US#7 1600.
Top male student-athletes: Carlon Hosten - Taft Educational Campus, NY: US#6 at 55 and 300 meters. Charles Crispi - Monsignor Farrell, NY: US#6 pole vault. C.J. Licata - Gill St. Bernard's, NJ: US#3 Shot Put. Garrett Doyle - Lincoln Senior High School, RI: US#3 Weight Throw.
WHEN: The New Balance Games begin today from 5-10 p.m. and will take place on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. through 9 p.m. The New Balance Games Can be seen on Runner Space + Plus.
